The NWZ-4551 DGPS/GPS navigator is a high-performance display unit, offering highly accurate positioning fixing, anywhere in the world. Own ship’s position, course, speed, planned route, bearing and distance are displayed on a large LCD display.
Large LCD display
Upon entering the position data from a GPS or DGPS receiver, the large LCD display will show all necessary navigational information at a glance, ensuring simple operation without having to switch between displays. You can mount the display unit anywhere you want as it’s totally splash proof.
Accurate positioning
By connecting a (differential) GPS receiver, the NWZ-4551 displays the ship’s position with high accuracy, ensuring the efficiency of safety and navigation. Detailed fishing information, such as fishing sports, net casting spots and buoy positions can be memorized and displayed as waypoints or event marks, which is a very useful tool for enhancing your efficiency of fishing operations and safety of navigation.
Waypoints
Up to 499 waypoints 20 routes can be stored in the internal memory with their place names in 8 alphanumeric characters, allowing you to scroll numerically or alphabetically.
Economical navigation
The graphically designed ‘course deviation’ screen enables users to verify the steering direction by just simply looking at the display, which ensures safety and economical navigation. In addition, the symbols reflecting the waypoints can be displayed on the PLOT screen.
Loran C/A on display
The NWZ-4551 has the capability to convert and display LOnge RAnge Navigation – Loran C or A time difference values.
Ship’s track plotting
In the PLOT display mode, the ship’s position is displayed relative to the waypoints with a mark and track, ensuring easy operation.
